OVERVIEW
1- Active member:
– Egyptian nationality or origin – Good conduct and behavior – Not deprived of exercising his political rights or practicing the profession
– A medical doctor with a specialty certificate in orthopedic surgery
– Complete the membership application form (obtained free of charge from the association’s headquarters) with a personal photo
– Payment of the annual subscription specified by the General Assembly
* Working member rights: required to pay the association’s annual subscription until the last year
First: Starting from the beginning of membership: Participation in activities supported by the association, such as the association’s magazine – the association’s library – monthly scientific meetings – seminars – training courses – and conferences, according to the value determined by the Board of Directors.
Second: Six months after the start of membership: attending the General Assembly – voting in the Board of Directors elections – nomination for Board of Directors membership
2- Associate member:
– Non-Egyptian nationality – Good conduct and behavior – Not deprived of exercising his political rights or practicing the profession
– A non-Egyptian medical doctor who holds a specialty certificate in orthopedic surgery
– Complete the membership application form (obtained free of charge from the association’s headquarters) with a personal photo of 4 x 6.
– Paying the annual subscription specified by the General Assembly of Egyptians
– The annual subscription for non-Egyptians is one hundred dollars ($100).
* The associate member has the right to participate in some of the association’s activities at the value determined by the Board of Directors, provided that the association’s annual subscription is paid until the end of the year.
*The associate member does not have the right to attend the General Assembly, to vote in the Board of Directors elections, nor to be nominated for membership in the Board of Directors.
Membership status shall cease in the following cases
1- If he loses one of the conditions of the association
2- Failure to pay the association’s subscription for three consecutive years. Membership may be reinstated in this case after paying all late subscriptions.
3- Dismissal from membership
A) If he commits an act that would cause the association serious material or moral harm
b) If he exploits his joining the association for a personal purpose
C) Writing incorrect information in the form
